When do you start seeing the results for running?

I want to run to lose all of this weight. I will be running around my block about 3 times jogging. When will I start seeing the results? Please help and give suggestions

i have no clue when you’d see results. i didn’t run to lose weight; i ran to get fit. i saw results in about 3-5 months. i was actually able to keep up and stay with the group.
some tips:
– keep hydrated ! water, water, water.
– stretch ! stretch everything before AND after you run.
– find the right shoe for you. ask the people at the store to help you.
– i wouldn’t just run around your block 3 times. i’d time it – run for 20-30 minutes. if you can’t run that, then work up to it. run for 10-15 minutes, take a break, then run the last 10-15.
– also, shake it up, try and find somewhere new to go. i run by the bayou, in my park, in a neighborhood where no one knows me(i hate it when people see me run for some reason).
– eat healthy. only doing the exercise won’t help. eat healthy.
– try ab workout as well. ab exercises.

What to drink after a 5km running workout?

I’d like to know what can I eat and what to drink after 25 minutes of running.
And what can I eat/drink before it. (how many hours before the workout)

Any drink directed at imporving your fitness, such as Gatorade or Powerade. There are also drinks formulated for ONLY after the workout, such as Accelerade.

How many calories does 20 minutes of non stop running burn?
How many calories does 20 minutes of non stop running burn? not boasting but i am very fit and i have six pack abs. I run alot and i was wondering how much calories on average does 20 minutes of running burn. Also how many calories do you have to burn to lose 1 kg.
I am 172cm, Male, 15 years old, 49 kg, 6 pack abs.

im sorry, but that guy above me is an idiot, it takes about 10 seconds to burn 7 calories. no one can really accurately say, its hard to tell without knowing the intensity and the terrain your running on etc. if you really want to know, get a pedometer from a sports shop their pretty cheap and good if your interested in monitering your calorie burning rate and other stuff.
btw, 49kg that is wayyy underweight! if your as muscly as you say you are then you should weight alot more than that.

when will i start to see results from running?

i have a bit of a belly, it isnt that big, but i wasnt happy with it so i started running. i’ve been running for a week now. i run/walk for 3 miles, i alternate between laps, everyday and it takes me about 40 minutes. the thing is i didnt change my diet because the belly doesnt add any weight to me. when will i start to see results of my belly getting smaller?

They’re right, you have to change your diet in order for pounds to come off. Your probably burning like 350-400 calories doing your workout plan. If you can burn like an extra 100-150, and you cut back to 1500 calories a day, you should lose a pound a week! Count your calories and see were your weak points are. Change the weak points into strong points! Avoid high carb and high fat foods. Watch your portions, too. If you do this, you should look like a hot mamma in no time! 😀
